A special thanks to Roo, for finding the following in his archives....
Deadpool Holidays, by TCR, first published 12/21/2000
'Twas the night of deadpool and all around the camp, Over there was Whitey, stirring a little night-cap.
The Wildmen were huddled around the fire so toasty, While Flinn and Hurls cooked something roasty.
The usual Norm spying everyones list, Schmidt memorizing 'Real People' he'd later incist. When the
time had arrived, gathered eveyone near, "Rally!" perked Bobby, he couldn't be queer?
Suddenly from Propers pants, arose a great stench, Down-hill tumbled Beckley, from off the picnic-bench.
McVay picked Tandy, an embarrassing move, Then 'Rossman' kicked in his usual Mangione groove.
Reid teeing up a ball and the driver into the river, While flames of the fire made Roo shake and quiver.
When what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a man-they-call John Mundelius and the Philco are here!
He talked and talked and talked with a grin, Only three words remained 'I', 'Love' and 'Him'. But
I heard him exclaim as fast as he came, When that 'Witch'-bends-over, I forget my name! YOW!

OLD NEWS
NEWS 4.19.05: With Dirty Sanchez no longer a threat and slightly over
a week away until draft, Cuckaroo has pretty much locked in the win...or has he? Congratulations on the Pope Roo, the new
chap is a healthy 78---2nd round for the first time in the history of the deadpool? Get your lists ready gentlemen, the competition
will be stiff this year.
The list is updated. Cuckaroo and Brent are in the lead with 3 each, Roo has the later pick and the
official top spot. The weary Popester might give Roo the lock----or will he? Many others close behind----it's anyone's
contest. Deadpool deadline this year May 7th!!!
NEWS FLASH: It happened, it really happened----no, Ted Kennedy didn't die twice
(nor once even) but Ron Reagan the #1 2005 overall draft has left us for bigger Ranches AND more difficult to believe is that
Fun Bobby is on the board for his first time EVER!!! The steadfast pro's (and past deadpool champs), Schmidthead and
Roo take the 1st and 3rd 2005 deaths with Tony Randall and a lead- establishing 8th round Ray Charles. Good start boys,
keep 'em coming!

What it's all about...
"The Tandy"
What's the Wildman Deadpool?
An educational game of life played by a close group of friends since 1993. Because
of "nothing to do months" and the urge to jumpstart a year after a long cold Minnesota winter the 6 original players set out
in fridged April on a 2-day camping and golf trip to Red Wing Minnesota.
On the 2nd night at our campsite perched above the rushing Zumbro River we sat
around a campfire, grilled hotdogs and smoked Swisher Sweets. The temperature was in the 40's so our gloved hands
held tight our Special Export while we retold the days stories. The call rang out "let's draft a deadpool" someone tore
open a brown grocery bag and a golf pencil was retrieved by the man they call Rossy (also the historic first winner). After
randomly selecting a draft order each member preceded to select 1 non-repeat name of someone they expected to die within that
year. 3 to 5 hours later, 120 names had been scribbed on that legendary brown paper bag and so began the Wildman Deadpool.
The winner's award is fondly referred to as "The Tandy" in honor of the first Wildman Deadpool death---Jessica
Tandy. The Tandy is proudly engraved with the winners name and displayed in their homes most prominant location (usually
a drawer due to the skull head not working well with a wife or Bobby's decor).
11-years later with some 2,000 names selected, one tipped picnic table, an angry park ranger, a
broken $400 driver, a laptop shutdown, a burned-out house, someone called "oh you", a walking cane collection, a marching
man in hats, Peeps, 125 ice cream sandwichs, a hundred more stories and the usual 8 to 12 suspects the Wildman
Deadpool will forever bring together old friends with new.

Dead Pool '05 by J. Rossman
The Pope keeps doin the rope a dope,
Don't know when he'll be goin' down.
But gotta set a date,
cuz Spring is comin 'round.
Kept tryin to find one,
When Whitey couldn't go,
But he's got no social life,
No matter when, he'd show.
So Saturday May 7th,
Will be the draft this year,
Hope you all can make it,
Or I'll be cryin in my beer.
Golf courses will be open,
Boat in the water blue,
By then Pope John will have bit the dust,
Hopefully the Fab Five too.
So tell the wife or gal,
Even if she's due that day with child ( See Verhey),
You'll be out of town that day,
Cuz your a man that's Wild.
